Ships

The winds of time and maritime traditions are yours as you walk our wooden decks.

Each of our three handsome, historical boats is designed to fit the smallest lock on the canal like a hand in a glove. Built in 1874, Juno is the oldest boat with sleeping cabins still in regular service. The Wilhelm Tham was built in 1912 and our youngest, Diana, in 1931.

We have carefully maintained and preserved their handsome bodies and vibrant souls so as to ensure the right atmosphere aboard. One part of this effort is that the interiors on all three boats are of the times.

There are three cabin classes, one on each of the boat's decks - the bridge, shelter and main decks. Most of the cosy, small cabins are fitted with a bunk bed and a washbasin.
  • Toilet and shower are nearby. Meals are taken in the mahogany and brass dining room. The salon is the place for socialising, conversing or reading one of the volumes in our small ship’s library.
  • We are renovating our cabins in 2003-2004, revealing the original style and increasing the comfort for our guests. See pictures Those interested in history can find more information here.
