Alta–North Cape–Kirkenes 7 Days / 6 Nights from $2,449

Visit the Ice Hotel for a unique and unforgettable experiences during your stay in Alta. Alta is situated in Norwegian Lapland high above the Arctic Circle and there are several optional excursions, such as snowmobiling, dogsledding or a short trip on a horse-drawn sleigh, which you can enjoy before having a drink at the Ice Bar. After relaxing in the sauna and hot tub, you'll retire for the night in one of the cozy rooms of the fabulous Alta Igloo Ice Hotel.

The following morning, you will travel to Honningsvag and journey to the wild North Cape, mainland Europe's northernmost point. Spectacular views and sheer cliffs rising from ever-changing seas contrast with the peace of St. John's Chapel, a sheltered viewing point partly blasted out of the rock which is joined by tunnel to the visitor's center. The center houses a post office, where you can mail home letters bearing the rare North Cape postmark.

After returning to Honningsvag you'll join the northbound coastal voyage overnight to Kirkenes, traveling along the dramatic coast of the far north of Norway and hopefully catching the magical Northern Lights. You'll disembark in Kirkenes, close to the Russian border, for your flight home.
