HURTIGRUTEN OFFERS 50% COMPANION SAVINGS AND REDUCED PRICING
ON ITS 67-DAY "LONGITUDINAL" ARCTIC-TO-ANTARCTICA WORLD EXPLORER CRUISE

New York, NY, February 2008 -- Explorers taking advantage of Hurtigruten's 67-day "Longitudinal World Cruise" or select segments ranging from 22 to 46 days, are now able to save 50% on a companion's fare when booking selected stateroom and suite categories by April 30, 2008 - amounting to a discount of $4,799 to $24,649 for the companion. For bookings after April 30, Hurtigruten is offering per person savings of $750 on staterooms and $1,500 on suites. The World Cruise adventure, aboard the expedition ship MS Fram, begins September 23, 2008 in Iceland, follows the advent of the October Fall foliage season from the northern Canada to New England and down the eastern seaboard, sails the warm tropical waters of the Caribbean and through the Panama Canal, and makes its way along the western shores of South America to Antarctica and the Chilean Fjords - ending in Ushuaia, Argentina on November 28.

The 17-country, four-continent expedition visits smaller and more unusual ports such as Chile's Arica, UK's Isle of Man and Maine's Bar Harbor; pass under the Verrazano Bridge as the ship makes its way into New York Harbor; get an eye-level view of the "mules" pulling the ship through the Panama Canal; and visit with thousands of penguins in the White Continent. Full-cruise rates are $17,499 to $60,899 per person, double. Segments prices for Reykjavik to New York (22 days) are $6,499 to $22,599; New York to Callao, Peru (23 days), $6,999 to $24,399; and New York to Buenos Aires (46 days), $13,199 to $45,999. Rates include selected cabin category, all meals on board, lectures by experts and naturalist guides, port charges and cruise taxes. A fuel surcharge of $140 per stateroom is additional.

Optional excursions run the gamut - an eight-hour exploration of Iceland's thermal activity; an Irish pub; bicycle tour of Nova Scotia's rugged coastline; lunch with an astronaut at Kennedy Space Center; cave tubing in Belize; dolphin encounters; tour of a banana processing plant; cave exploration in Panama; visit to Chilean ghost town; fly fishing in a forest preserve; and the highlight, at no charge, the incredible vista, icebergs, penguins and other wildlife in Antarctica. The ship's size makes it easy to dock in the center of many of the ports with easy on/off capability. And for those unusual ports of call where docking is not offered, the 318-passenger MS Fram offers landings with comfortable PolarCirkle tenders specifically designed to visit off-the-beaten-track destinations.
