New York, NY, December 2006 -- An air-inclusive, four-day "Norway Winter Wonderland" getaway at $699 per person, single or double occupancy, has been introduced by Norwegian Coastal Voyage for travelers with limited time to explore the country's spectacular fjord-indented coast. The winter break on a Norwegian Coastal Voyage ship sailing between Bergen, a charming Hanseatic port, and Trondheim, the country's first capital, includes round-trip SAS flights from New York, local flights in Norway, leisure time in historic Bergen, two nights and breakfast daily aboard ship, port charges, airport transfers and air taxes. Daily departures are scheduled through March 31, 2007 except December 15-24.

The 11-ship fleet sails from Bergen northward in sheltered waters along the mountainous coast and by scores of islands to the Art Nouveau town of Alesund; Molde, with splendid views of the snow-capped Romsdal Alps, Kristiansund, set on three islands, and Trondheim, home of Norway's largest medieval cathedral. In the Arctic twilight the lights of towns, villages and lighthouses glow against snow-clad landscapes. Average winter temperatures in Bergen and Trondheim, which are warmed by the Gulf Stream, are between 27° and 40°.
